Privacy Notice

Wake Tree Quotes is a lead-matching website. When you submit a tree-service request, you are asking us to use and share the information needed to try to connect that request with independent tree-service providers.

Information we collect

When you use the quote form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, city, ZIP code, tree-service need, timing, job description, and up to three optional photos. We also receive ordinary technical information produced when a website is used, such as request logs maintained by our hosting and infrastructure providers.

How we use information

We use submitted information to review and route tree-service requests, communicate about a request, prevent abuse and spam, troubleshoot the site, improve the request experience, maintain business records, and operate Wake Tree Quotes.

Sharing with tree-service providers

If you submit the quote form and consent to matching, we may share your request and contact information with up to three independent tree-service providers so they can decide whether to contact you about that job. Those providers are separate businesses and control their own privacy practices after they receive the information.

Service providers and third-party content

We use Netlify to host the website and process form submissions. The site also loads representative photography from Unsplash and Pexels and embeds map content from OpenStreetMap. When your browser loads third-party content, those services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the page requesting the content, according to their own policies.

Photos

Photos are optional. The site attempts to resize large photos in your browser before upload, which generally removes embedded image metadata from the resized copy. Even so, do not upload photos containing sensitive information that is unrelated to the tree-service request.

Advertising and analytics

Wake Tree Quotes does not currently use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral advertising cookies, and it does not currently use a third-party analytics platform. If that changes, this notice should be updated before the new technology is enabled.

Retention and deletion

Our operating policy is to remove ordinary lead submissions from primary form storage within 90 days after submission, unless information needs to be retained longer to handle an active request, resolve a dispute, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with law, or maintain a legitimate business record. North Carolina law also requires businesses to take reasonable measures when disposing of records containing covered personal information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small lead-matching website, including encrypted HTTPS transport provided by the hosting platform, restrictive browser security headers, spam filtering, and limited collection of information. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may use the site without submitting a quote. Photos are optional. You may also ask us to review, correct, or delete information associated with your request, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs, by using the contact form.

Children

The service is intended for people who have authority to request work for a property. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through this website.

Changes

We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
